post script to last post

In my last post I meant to say, that although we have an emergency lantern (a big torch/flashlight with multiple lights, can be charged by plugging into power) it didn't help us when the power was off. It was fully charged but both the white light tubes don't work anymore, nor does the bulb light. The only part that works is the orange flashing light. I guess its to use if you are in danger and need to attract attention. The only other things it is good for its having a disco or getting a headache. And as we weren't in the mood for a disco or a headache it was just annoying.
