I just spent some time with "L", probably my closest Khmer gior rl friend. We worked together for 2 years and have been praying together for about a year. We usually meet once a week, today was probably our last time!

Today was a bit crazy- in the morning I went to photocopy some document, and get a photo scanned for a document i'm trying to get before I leave. Then i went to the faculty prayer meeting, which I've never been to before, as its only for faculty, but the Vice P invited me for a fare well prayer time.

Then I went home to do some stuff but turned out I needed to drop everything and catch moto to the MOJ cos they needed to see me about the document. The guy who was doing it for us was waiting for me. But I left home at 10.30, so by the time i got there it was almost 11am, so of course they had already gone on their lunch break, and they wouldn't come back to work until 2pm....ish.

I was planning either to meet my friend L or catch up with an Aussie family who just got back. I was waiting for them to call when was good for them as they are really busy this week. They smsed me when I was on the moto on the way there. So when I found i had to leave moj and come back at 2 i suggested i go straight to meet them at a mall.

So i ended up having pizza with them, then back to moj at 2pm. My first time to thumb print a document, in australia we only ever use our signature. They had to fill out some of the forms again cos some had my family name, and then my given name and some the other way around. ie- some written the way i would write my name, and some written the Khmer way. They asked me which one was correct. i wasn't sure what to answer.

My phone battery was flat so i couldn't sms my friend to say i couldn't meet her, i was an hour late getting home. She had gone home already, but i called her and she came back so we had some time together while her son was at school.

Yesterday  I put some pants in to get adjusted, at the same shop that made my wedding clothes, then I dropped some books and stuff off at a mission home.  On my way home I went to the market. I spent the rest of the day talking to Bible school people and empty my bags and washing them, and washing lots of things and sorting documents.

I was so so tired yesterday I felt like i could fall straight asleep after dinner. But then when it finally was bedtime I couldn't sleep cos i was thinking about getting ready to go, and the final pack.
