On our 2nd morning with Baby I was admiring his beautiful golden skin in the morning sunshine and thinking how good it was that he had Daddy's skin colour. Then the doctors told me it was jaundice.. oh right.
When we were back home Soeun would take him outside to get some sunshine, but another guest here noticed the yellow had gone down to his tummy and suggested we take him back. Turns out his b. reading was 23 which is appretnly too high for him to leave the nursery , even to go to another floor to feed.
Baby wrapped in Daddy's "groma", after we got home from being in hospital for the birth, but before going back to treat jaundice. You might be able to see his yellow skin. He was back in for 24 hours and now is fine (at first the doc said it would be two nights.)
On the day he was there I staryed there all day to feed, Soeun had his own doc appt at another nearby hospital in the morning then joined me in the arvo. We're making the most of the medical services here! I may also see a physio soon, my back doesn't like breastfeeding.
