Listening to Word FM , its so great to have internet at home this year. A few years ago we couldn't get it , and the nearest internet cafe was a 20 min bike ride away.

Yesterday I had  a Khmer friend over, her husband and sis in law looked after her kids and SOeun was out at church so we had heaps of time to hang out, with Baby and computer. I helped her sign up for email and facebook!

Its really fun to hang out with her , we have lots of Khmer ppl coming over and staying the night at our place, mostly students and relatives. ITs fun to have someone who is actually a friend, makes me feel more pos towards khmer language and culture, rather than thinking about all the ways I'm constantly shocked by the different ideas on safety, hygene etc
