The other day Soeun's tummy became so sore, I called a taxi and took him to the hospital. I thought first we would sit down and fill in a form, as it was his first time there, then go and be weighed, have temp taken etc. But they took one look at him and took him off to emergency. I filled in his form in english.

They did heaps of tests and ruled out lots of things. After a few hours we were sent home with reflux med and a follow up in ten days. They think its gastritis, his sister who is staying also has that. The med seems to help, if he forgets to take it before he eats his pain is worse.

last night i used a baby pad to make a heat pack for his tummy. those disposable mats do hold a lot of water!
