Yesterday I had a flashback to our life about 3 years ago. Rode my bike to a friends house, had to go through flooded roads- it was so exhausting and gross! Used to to that all the time, forgot what it was like.

Can you see the white ducks? They seemed to enjoy the road more than me and my bike.

Taking cake and potato to a friend- she gave me some bread and curry she made  that day.

Also one of my old moto taxi drivers saw me and we caught up a bit, I wasn't sure if he would remember me as he had lots of customers and i'm sure all white ppl look the same to some Cambodians.

Today I had to go to the post office, then went to a supermarket. I've been taking tuk tuks since the baby was born, and we seem to have ended up taking the same driver all the time, which makes it easier. He also picks up some kids from school who live near us, so a few times we have all been in the tuk tuk together. Thats a new experience here as around town there are no buses or anything like that where you share a ride with strangers. Actually I think in some parts of town they have motos with flat trailers, but I only saw that once when I was visiting a facotry girl dorm.
