So finally the tiles are getting put back on the roof, well new tiles as the old ones were drilled apart. When I say roof, its not actually like a balcony area on top of our house where we have the washing machine.

I think it was a few weeks ago (months?) they had to drill it all up because the power didn't work up there, and then more recently it happenend in our bedroom too, so we have rubble and exposed wires. Everytime i do washing i need to step across all this mess, and its been raining over the last little while (it was drilled up during raining season) so the rubble hole is filled with water which seeps down into out house. At first we asked if we needed to cover it, the tradesman said no need. But after the first lot of rain we have been trying to keep the tarp over it, but its hard to keep it totally dry in a tropical rainy season.
