I was going to visit a project today but when I woke up the water was higher than ever. For the last 78 days the roads outside the school have been covered with water, some days more, some days less. Occasionally inside campus is flooded too, and today was such a day.

You have to get your feet wet to go from building to building, although some a finding a way around that. Soeun asked for a lift to work this morning. So he sat on the back of my bike and I pedaled from our house across the water filled driveway to his office. And when it was time for chapel I saw some people using motos to get across the driveway.
After lunch Soeun asked me to give him a bike ride back to his office (I had ridden my bike over to the building where school eats). We had to go via “Lake Volley Ball Court” instead of taking him straight to his office I rode around in the water for awhile while he loudly begged to be taken to his office.
All my hard work keeping his feet dry was in vain though, he ended up having a full immersion experience. After work he usually plays either soccer or volley ball, and today they played- even though the court was under water. All the fish must have got scared and swam away down the path.

It was a really noisy game. The water loudly swished as they ran around. On top of that they were laughing so much! Especially whenever one of the fell over into the water, which happened a lot as it was really slippery. And the loosing team has to do push ups, which was harder than usual.
