Employment for church leaders and others

Yesterday I spent the morning finding out about some interesting things.

After finding that the church in another Asian country was growing slowly, partly because it wasn’t completely indigenous, an expat couple have set up some employment ventures here in Cambodia.

Here, and in the other Asian country, church leaders need to either have a job to earn money as well as leading a church, or rely on money from overseas. Seeing that relying on foreign money had hindered the church becoming indigenous in the other country, and that jobs are hard to find they have set up a school, a business and run a work shop that makes clothes, bedding etc.
