What can people in Australia send us?
We can buy pretty much anything here. Including dental floss, deodorant and breakfast cereal (things I couldn't easily buy where I was in China)
Some ideas, things people have sent us:
Things to read such as SMH saturday mag Goodweekend, Southern Cross (Sydney Anglican newpaper),Reader's digest mag missionary biographies (there are lots of things to read on the net, but it's nice to have something to read at home in the evening for fun)
Food treats- dark chocolate, Easter eggs, Christmas cake
Letters and photos- a church prayer group sent us a photo of themselves, a friend wrote me a card for each day of the week (it was like her journal, so I could see what her life is like), another friend sent some short video clips of herself and other friends
Misc: Christian music cds, our churches send sermons and old notice sheets, letter from members and staff
